Scanner View
The Scanner is used to scan QR codes.
Before using the camera for the first time, you need to allow its usage in the app. Point the camera towards a QR code to scan it. The app can detect up to three valid QR codes at the same time visible in the camera.
Toolbar
- FlashlightEnabled the flashligh on your device (if supported).
- Image librarySelect an image from your local image gallery to automatically scan it for QR codes.
- Switch cameraSwitch between the front and back camera on your device (if supported).
Snackbar
The snackbar will appear at the bottom of the screen when any valid QR code has been scanned and recognized. The snackbar contains the following optioons:
- CloseCloses the snackbar.
- CopyCopies the scanned QR code contents to the clipboard as text.
- Go toActs on the QR code contents depending on its type, for example visit a web link in the broswer, a geographical position in a map, an SMS message in the sms message app, or a new contact in your contacts app.*
* The actual app is dependent on the operating system, its version, and any installed software and/or apps you have on your device. This also means that if there is no suitable app installed for the content type, the action may not be performed correctly or at all.
